Welcome to the documentation for cs.linguacopier!

cs.linguacopier adds an action to copy the contents of an object — and, optionally, its subobjects — into one or more target languages, so that translators start from a copy of the original instead of an empty page.

By default it copies the content verbatim. If an external translation service is configured in Plone, the copy can also translate the copied text as it goes, so translators start from a draft in the target language.

It is available in the classic UI and, when plone.restapi is installed, over the REST API for a Volto front end.
